Job Description:
Position OverviewThe Maintenance employee must work in a
constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. The maintenance
employee job requires maintaining rolling stock, sprinkler systems,
shavings bin, general maintenance throughout mill, diagnose and
repair sawmill and other equipment. There maybe occasional weekend
and night duty. At times exposed to the elements. Requires to clean
up oil spills from equipment in shop, parts removal after
installing new parts and keep shop clean. This position requires a
self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team based
system. They need to have the ability to schedule their work,
prioritize their work load, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Good troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis skills are
required to make proper repairs. Preventive and predictive skills
are required to keep equipment running safe and efficient. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for
continuous improvement of technical skills and quality workmanship
are required to meet our customers increasing demands.

Maintenance Technician will be performing: Works safely and follows
all related policies and programs to assure a safe working
environment.Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to
determine work requirementsInstall, align, dismantle and move
stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as
pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to layout plans using
hand and power toolsInspect and examine machinery and equipment to
detect and find irregularities and malfunctionsInstall,
troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and
pneumatic systemsAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective
parts0machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and
repair of machineryAdjust machinery and repair or replace defective
partsClean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on
machineryOther job tasks and projects as assignedQualifications The
qualified candidate will have knowledge in the following
areas:AC/DC wiring methodsAC/DC drives/motorsPLCs (Allen Bradley,
Siemens, B&R, Beckhoff)TouchscreensMechanical systems (bearing,
alignment, chains, belts)Pneumatics and hydraulicsDesign and
fabricatingPreventive & predictive maintenance on production
machineryMill and Lathe experience is a plusCompensation &
