Job Description:
A company is looking for a 988 Follow Up Counselor to provide
support and assistance to crisis line callers.
Key Responsibilities
Contact callers and assess risk while providing referrals for
mental health services
Maintain accurate call reports and monitor client progress against
safety plans
Attend required meetings and fulfill continuing education
requirements
Required Qualifications and Training
Successful completion of the training program and 1+ years of
experience as a crisis line volunteer counselor
Knowledge of lethality assessment, data collection, and call
triage
Ability to comply with agency policies and HIPAA regulations
Must be 18 years old or older
