Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Respond to calls and e-mails from advisors and clients regarding life insurance, annuities, LTC, and disability insurance.
* Assist, review, submit and follow up on:
*

• 
  * Title Changes: Ownership, POA, Beneficiary changes & Third party authorization
  * Agent of record changes, licensing, product, carrier requirements
  * Claims on life, annuity, LTC & LTC
  * Perform policy reviews
  * Assist with ACATs, withdrawals & surrenders
  * Run and request in force illustrations
  * EFT/modal changes
  * Reinstatements
  * Conversions
  * Assist in completing forms
  
  
  
  
  * Respond to customer requests in timely manner, provide information and resolve problems
  * Perform other tasks as assigned by management
  
  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  
  * College degree or equivalent workforce experience
  * Previous one year life and/or annuity insurance experience is preferred
  * Knowledge of life and annuity insurance products and industry is preferred
  
  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  
  * Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  * Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  * Self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize work to balance multiple projects, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
  * Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action
  * Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  * Ability to maintain confidentiality
  * Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance
  
  QUALIFICATIONS
  
  * Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  * Ability and Willingness to learn systems and industry
  
  CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  
  * Existing insurance license or willingness to obtain insurance license within 6 months of employment
