Job Description:
A company is looking for a Procurement Category Manager to
manage assigned commodities, suppliers, and purchases to meet
customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop strategic approaches for direct material packaging
categories
Lead supplier negotiations and manage supplier relationships to
drive value
Conduct risk analyses and manage supply interruptions
effectively
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related
discipline
5 or more years of relevant experience in procurement of packaging
products
Demonstrated knowledge of procurement processes and business
results
Experience in strategic sourcing of packaging materials
CPM or CPIM (APICS) certification is preferred
