OBXtek is seeking the provision of full-time Instructor, Writer and
Inspector for the Army National Guard (ARNG) ARNG G2 Security
Manager Course located at Little Rock, Arkansas.
The necessary qualifications of the Instructor, Writer and
Inspector are detailed below. The new hire will train and educate
students attending the scheduled Security Managers Course and apply
the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
(ADDIE) process to the training development process, resulting in
the development, updates, and maintenance of courseware and
training products.
The new hire will assist the Army National Guard Protection
Assessment Team (PAT) by assessing, briefing the inspecting units
of the ARNG specifically in areas of information security,
industrial security and personnel security. Some travel is
required. The major tasks for this position with Training
Management Branch, Operations, and Training are:
Use the approved Systems Approach to Training (SAT) and its
suggested model, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and
Evaluation (ADDIE) Model Process and Adult Learning Theory to
develop training courseware in accordance with Training and
Doctrine Command, TRADOC Regulations and Pamphlets as specified in
Section 6.0 and the Annex D, Training Standard Operating Procedure,
of the PEC SOP
Facilitate no more than 4, Critical Task Selection Boards (CTSSB)
per month. See Technical Exhibit 5, Historical/Projected CTSSB
Schedule. The board will be conducted per TRADOC Regulations and
Pamphlets, TR 350-70, TRADOC PAMPHLET 350-70-1, TRADOC PAMPHLET
525-8-2, and NGPEC SOP Annex D.
Submit completed CTSSB packet to the COR for review with- in 7
working days upon board conclusion. The packets shall be submitted
electronically via the Global Electronic Approval Routing System
(GEARS) program
Correct any administrative or procedural errors within three
business days for all returned packets and resubmit through GEARS
program
Evaluate Course Analysis data to ensure accuracy based on
regulatory guidance TRADOC PAMPHLET 350-70-1.
Schedule, and conduct meetings as part of the Course Analysis
process and within prescribed timeframes specified
Utilize NGBPEC SharePoint to store/upload CTSSB packet and
Microsoft Outlook calendar to assist in notification and
scheduling.
Coordinate scheduling resources required to conduct the board (i.e.
rooms, computers, projector's, tele- conferencing, VTC) 45 days
prior to the CTSSB
Be the point of contact and manage the CTSSB Team database within
TEAMs, TRADOC Pamphlet: https://www.pecportal/SitePages/Home.aspx.
h. Review any new equipment listed by the training center for
operational knowledge, possible inclusion into training products,
and to assist in the board facilitation.
Review regulatory guidance identified by the training center or
board members for situational awareness, possible inclusion into
training products, and to assist in the board facilitation.
Review the CTSSB rules of engagement listed in the CTSSB room for
situational awareness to assist in the board facilitation.
Facilitate the board to ensure: That all participants are treated
fairly and given equal opportunity to contribute throughout the
board process. b. Ensure all equipment is working (i.e. projector,
VTC, computer) c. Provide appropriate CTSSB documents or references
to board members. d. Conduct the board IAW Training and Doctrine
Command (TRADOC) 350 -70, TRADOC Pamphlet 525-8-2, and NGPEC
SOP
Prepare and submit a list of board members and their supervisors to
the COR for certificates of appreciation on the second day of the
board. packet requirements. Prepare and submit CTSSB packet to the
COR within 7 working days upon completion of the board.
Design, develop (IAW TRADOC 350-70), and obtain TRADOC validation
for a minimum of 15 courses per year. 4.0.5. Task Specific
Requirements for Courseware Development for the following courses:
which together assembled create the Security Managers Course.
G2 (Intelligence and Security Directorate) Industrial Security,
Information Security, and Personnel Security: New course by means
of creating/design and development and input to the electronic Army
Training Repository https://tdc.army.mil/, Training Development
Capabilities (TDC) 640 hours of course training material including
development of Lesson Plans, CMPs, CADs, POIs, ISAPs, formal and
informal evaluation plans, graphic technical aids, and job aids to
meet accurate technical content and regulatory standards outlined
in TR 350-70. All course material will be developed using the ADDIE
process. Course material will be developed using TDC.
Identify sufficient time requirements for each learning
objective/lesson plan.
Create a course map that identifies the sequence of training and
the course length
Create and recommend formal and informal evaluation plans. The
evaluation plan determines how to assess the accomplishment of each
learning objective. Examples of informal evaluations could include
but not limited to checks on learning, quizzes, periodic instructor
feedback and after-action reviews.
Create/revise and recommend the Individual Student Assessment Plan
(ISAP) IAW TP 350-70-14 Table 6-3 and obtain approval by the COR
for each course. The ISAP informs students, instructors and other
personnel of graduation requirements. The ISAP establishes policies
and procedures that state student requirements for course
graduation. See Technical Exhibit 17, ISAP format.
Use approved design outputs from appropriate training center
representative, turn them into completed and approved products that
will be uploaded within the Army current repository
https://tdc.army.mil.
Develop and recommend Training Support Packages (TSP) that includes
all courseware that is required to conduct training. Training
products include: Programs of Instruction (POI), Course
Administrative Data (CAD), Individual Training Plan (ITP), Course
Management Plan (CMP) and training materials to include: lesson
plans, audio visual aids, assessment items and multimedia products
IAW TRADOC standards.
Continuously review, evaluate and recommend changes based on the
educational soundness, application and improvement of doctrinal
literature publications, educational policies and procedures, and
instructional systems throughout the ADDIE process.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED
Must have certification in: Common Faculty Development Program
Instructor Course (CFDP-IC) or equivalent qualification such as
ATRRS (Army Training Requirements and Resource System)
CFD-IC (Common Faculty Development Instructor Course)
SGITC (Small Group Instructor Training Course)
FDP1(Faculty Development Program Phase 1)
FIFC (Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course)
Five (5) years of Army National Guard personnel security experience
at the state level within the last five (5) years.
Knowledge of lesson plan development and ability to evaluate
training material.
