University Program!As a full-time employee in the FIS University
Program, you will have the opportunity to participate in team
projects, community service activities, professional development
seminars and work with a team that is invested in your growth,
development, and success; including bi-annual performance connects
with your manager.--This two-year full-time program has start dates
in January, March, June, and September with a dedicated "Learning
Week" where you will:
- Learn how to work within a corporate environment
- Learn about the exciting world of Fintech and the role FIS
plays
- Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in
senior leader networking opportunities
- Build a network of your peers from across the organizationThis
position is for a June 2025 start.About the RoleAs a 2025 FISU
Program participant, you will benefit from an on-the-job training
program. You will have the opportunity to be mentored and
participate in a team learning environment for several months.
After completing the training program, the FISU program
participants will participate in virtual training with their
managers and mentors as they integrate with their project teams.
This program incorporates an assessment process for the first five
years to ensure a successful career trajectory with FIS.About the

working alongside experts and mentors who provide hands-on training
and growth opportunities. You will be working in a fast-paced,
challenging environment with a veteran team of programmers. You
will help strengthen and expand client relationships while
identifying and implementing the best solutions for their needs and
challenges.What You Will Be Doing
- Provides application software development services or technical
support typically in a defined project.
- Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains
software applications.
- Demonstrates an understanding of FIS systems and the financial
services industry.
- Analyzes requirements and translates business requirements into
product designs.
- Writes technical specifications and other forms of
documentation.
- Suggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines
processes and systems.
- Completes project assignments and special projects commensurate
with job expectations.
- May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical
professionals.What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study
- Experience in any programming language
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English; Strong written and verbal communication
skills
- Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving
skills
- Ability to work well independently and within a teamBonus If
